About Me

Welcome to my blog - my ramblings about trying to find healthy, affordable gluten free food in St. John's, NL.
Despite being gluten free, I love to try new products and am always interested to hear about new places to eat.
I try to help the environment and purchase organic products where possible.

Enjoy :)

Glutino Gluten Free Bagel Crisps - Product Review

I've mentioned how much I love Costco, and recently, they have been getting in lots of new gluten free products! One of the items I recently picked up was Glutino Bagel Crisps. Glutino is a pretty good company, and they are in the process of verifying many of their products as non-GMO. The bagel crisps are not listed yet, but they may be in the near future!

The package from Costco comes with 2 bags inside; I personally love the smaller packaging because the product doesn't go stale while you are trying to eat it. That being said, these are so awesome, I'm pretty sure I don't have that worry!

There are 3 flavours, but Costco currently only carries the original. The crisps are nice bite size pieces with a LOT of crunch. I personally love crunchy things, so this is a super tasty treat for me. They are slightly salted, but are good for dipping in sour cream or salsa as well.

I've listed the ingredients as listed on their website. Some of the ingredients are not super healthy, but over all, not too bad!

INGREDIENTS: Bagel (tapioca starch, corn starch, potato starch, egg whites, cane sugar, canola oil, dried egg whites {egg whites, yeast, citric acid}, salt, guar gum, glucono-delta-lactone, yeast, pectin, sodium bicarbonate, sodium alginate, modified cellulose), vegetable oil (contains one or more of the following: sunflower oil, high oleic canola oil), salt.

I'll be buying these again - and stay tuned for more reviews from new Costco items!
