About Me

Welcome to my blog - my ramblings about trying to find healthy, affordable gluten free food in St. John's, NL.
Despite being gluten free, I love to try new products and am always interested to hear about new places to eat.
I try to help the environment and purchase organic products where possible.

Enjoy :)

Fruit Cobbler Recipe

Over the weekend I was watching the Food Network and came across a cobbler recipe to try. It's from Ree Drummond's Pioneer Woman, and it's quick, easy and yummy!

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
2 cups of berries of your choice (I used frozen PC Frozen Power fruit blend)
1 cup milk (I used 2 %)
1/3 cup butter melted
3/4 cup of sugar (You could use less if you wanted)

Mix together your dry ingredients, then add your milk and butter and combine completely. Add your berries and pour into a greased baking dish.

Bake for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.

Super easy, and totally customizable depending on what fruit you like or have on hand. It's also great with some ice cream!
